Job Title: Head of PMO
Job Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract (3 months, subject to becoming permanent depending on performance)
Daily Rate: £700, Inside IR35

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Head of PMO to join our client, a leading Financial Services company specializing in retirement solutions. Our client is committed to revolutionizing the retirement industry by offering innovative products, services, and financial advice to ensure a better later life for their customers. As the Head of PMO, you will be instrumental in driving transformation and managing a high-performing change team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a change team of 15 FTEs, including delivery managers, scrum masters, business analysts, portfolio analysts, and a portfolio manager.

• Drive Agile methodologies, ensuring effective Budget Management, Scope Management, Demand Management, and Resource & Capacity Management.

• Engage in strong senior stakeholder management, guiding transformation initiatives across the organization.

• Utilize MS Project for project planning and management.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Project Management.

• Proven expertise in Agile methodologies and extensive experience in Budget, Scope, Demand, and Resource & Capacity Management.

• Strong leadership experience, with a track record of managing large teams.

• Proficiency in MS Project (preferred).

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master.

• Prior experience in the finance industry.

• Exceptional leadership and presentation skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master, or similar.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
