Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior iOS Engineer to join our Engineering team in London. As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing large-scale, high-performance applications using Swift. You will contribute to enhancing our e-commerce platform, driving technological advancements, and ensuring a superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of large-scale high-performance iOS applications using Swift.
Drive the product technical roadmap through a deep understanding of technology and strategic planning.
Design and support services and internal frameworks to enhance our capabilities.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Champion best practices in software design, security, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proficiency in Swift and iOS development.
Strong expertise in engineering principles, software design, and implementation.
Knowledge of testing methodologies such as TDD and BDD.
Experience with security, cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.
Ability to drive agile/lean delivery methodologies and advocate for best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with other programming languages or frameworks.
Understanding of e-commerce platforms and customer-centric application design.
Experience with scalable and high-performance applications.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant industry certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
